Hi all!

We are looking to get bumpers for our baking racks and I was hoping for some input. Any suggestions on what materials we can should use? We have both, aluminum and stainless steel racks. They go in the ovens, freezer and high temp rack washer. We are looking for something that will tolerate all of those temperatures and not pose a foreign matter hazard. Any information wold be appreciated.

Thanks!

Hello Polly

The best choice for your company would be to use stainless steel racks as it can with stand all the condition you have mentioned. Aluminum will get softer with repeated use and some what deformed.

Agree, unfortunately, the company just invested in the aluminum ones and we will not be replacing them until it is necessary.

My problem now is that the aluminum ones are being bumped into each other and it is causing damage. We were hoping to get some sort of bumper for them to prevent it.

Silicone bumpers.
