Consultant Development

I haven't posted in a while. 

 

Not a request. Just want to share  what someone else might appreciate. 

 

I've been consulting for 13 year, been in food and beverage for 23 years. 

 

Last week I made a realization that I no longer want to be be a quality manager type person. 

 

I watched the You tube video  "So g*d made a quality manager" for the first time. I think I cried and laughed at the same time. 

 

I love writing and implementing systems but have no longer have the inclination for cajoling, mind reading, anticipating uncooperativesness and planning my systems for it. 

 

My mantra I started sharing with clients early on is: We get the findings we deserve. 

 

I think I evolved to a more shared accountability approach.
