Hair in our products...effectively containing hair?
Dear,
In the recent month I had 2 complaints regarding hair in a packaging of chicken filet.
After the first complaint I added a mirror so the people could check their hair at the entrance.
However, I noticed that hair would fall out of the hairnet, especially at the sides where there are short hair pieces, especially with women see picture below.
The hairnet doesn't put enough tension to hold the hair for a long period.
The employees don't always feel when their hair comes out and it gives unhygiene situations with them putting back their hair.
Someone advice to fix this problem?
Thanks!

Fall out of the hair net or fall from the head where the hair net is not covering it? P.S no photo attached.
Perhaps a balaclava style net would be more appropriate for your operatives if the standard hair net is not effective.
I'm also curious though, are you confident that the current hairnets are being worn and hygiene procedures followed? Do the operatives dispose of them and put on a fresh net after removal?

Dear,
I've checked out the balaciava style and I don't think I would be able to push this through.
The current hairnets are def being worn. And yes they use a fresh net after removal.
Image atteched.

Hi Adolf,
Employees should not be wearing it for long periods of time anyways in my opinion. They should replace it for example when coming back from the washrooms and/or lunchrooms.
They could also use two hairnets.
You could look into better quality hairnets with tighter grip.

This is what I mean.
However, we use different hairnets (hairnets over the ears).
Since hair nets need to cover all hair, be pulled over the ears as well - still can't over the ear wax incident at a bakery, caught in time.
I like the full head covering method.
There is the full head/beard hairnet (snood) that does a good job (no hair falling from the sides).
hello,
On my opinion, this is the best model: (burka style)

also check hands hair....

As Leila said, you may need to review how hair from arms/chest/mustache/hands/etc. is being controlled.
Hi Adolf,
You can impose fullhead cover including ears. There are also other head covers that you can use that can be put on after the head cap.
