HACCP/HARPC/FSMA Hazard Analysis

Hi all,

I am reviewing our HACCP program (Combined with HARPC/FSMA), and the hazard analysis form receiving to storage, processing, shipping is so on and so many pages.

If I want to update even a line, then a new revision shall be created on the whole document.

Have any one divided their hazard analysis into separate documents, so not the whole thing needs to be revised?

It would be like:

1. Receiving hazard analysis

2. storage hazard analysis, and so on ...

And then all will be numbered and corresponding to our flow chart.

Then in future updating only one doc. needs updating.

thank you,

^^^ I doubt it because the procedure typically follows the flowchart

This is when it pays to use automated systems, make a change and it reflects everywhere.

Agree with Charles.

Theoretically it does seem possible to do if you maintain entire flow as per flow chart, however one of the challenge in doing so is one can miss to evaluate the impact of change on later stages (if any) since you will be reviewing it in isolation.

I agree with above, in todays era where technology is no more expensive its worth going for a document management system rather than following manual process of maintaining hard copies.
