My company has a supplier who want to sell us sausage patties from another supplier which has a shelf life of 140d. Our immediate supplier wants to get an extension for a shelf life on the sausage patties for 365d. Is this acceptable?

Is this a raw or RTE product?

RTE. It's McDonald's sauage patties with a shelf life of 140d and I'm quite sure it's their rotation date. We only packaged froze product.
