12.5.6.2
Compressed air systems, system used to store or dispense other gasses used in the storage and
distribution process shall be maintained and regularly monitored for quality and microbiological purity.
I am attaching this element 12.5.6.2 for compress air quality and microbiological purity. As a warehouse that ships only prepacked ingredients and Finished Good cereals, the only time we use compress air for dunnage when loading.trailers.
Is this testing really required?

The catch is - if the compressed air comes into contact with food or a surface that touches food, then testing is required.
If no touching primary or secondary - no testing.
If no touching primary or secondary - no testing.
