Who is the manufacturer Us the Co-Man or Both of Us?

I have a question about Co-Mans. My faciltiy processes raw almonds (We sort and clean raw almonds). We send the raw almonds out to be roasted and boxed. I have a customer who is requesting that I fill out a supplier questionaire. The questionaire is asking who manufactures the product. Is my facility considered the manufacturer? or is the roasting company considered the manufacturer? I think we both are. Would I have to disclose the co-man to the customer?

I would say you are the manufacturer, and I would say you are the manufacturer.
Are you asking if the roaster and boxer is a contract manufacturer under a standard such as SQF or a straight Co-Manufacturer?
Do the boxes have your label on them so that for all intents and purposes it looks like everything came from your company?

Just from a logic point of view it sounds like you are both involved with the manufacturing and "co-manufacturer" has the word in its name.
It all depends on the name of the manufacturer on the label.

Thank you all for your replies! All of the products manufactured (Roasted, pasteurized, blanched, sliced and diced) at other facilities are boxed in cases with my company's label. There is nothing that we sell under someone else's name.

I also have a question pertaining to disclosing my contract manufacturer/Co-man to a customer who is requesting that I complete a supplier questionnaire. I'm currently filling out a questionnaire that is asking for all locations where the product is manufactured at and the allergens that may be processed on the same production line.
I have all the food safety documents from my co-manufacturers including allergen polices/matrix. In the questionnaire, I have included the allergens that my co-man is handling and processing on the same production line. But when it comes completing the section about the location of the manufacturer, I'm unsure If I'm obligated to disclose that to my customer. Do I have to provide my customer with who I use as a co-man?

Hi - this is a contract manufacturer not a co-manufacturer nor co-packer - must follow SQF requirements for contact manufacturer.
As to the other - we are in a world of transparency, this part is up to you. For me, we disclose the information and it all is nice nice.

When I look under the glossary for Contract Manufacturer in the SQF manual edition 8, it groups CO-Man and Contract manufacturer under the same definition. Is there something I can reference to define the difference?

Never heard of the term co-man.
Co-manufacturer is a contact manufacturer - one in the same.
