FDA requirements for bottling and/or packaging spices

Hi

I've been making my own salad dressings and using spices for a couple decades.

Thinking about branding some spice packages and maybe salad dressings down the road.

Is this a hard area to fulfill requirements with bottling and/or spice packages regarding FDA and packaging?

Thanks!

Anne

Yes it is. The first thing I would do if I were you, go to your state land grant university for help. They usually have resources at minimal cost if any to help people like yourself get into the food industry.

There are also 3rd party co packers that can do it for you if you have the volume. That's what I do.
