SQF 11.3.2.4, signs instructing employees to wash their hands

For SQF - 11.3.2.4 A sign instructing people to wash their hands, and in appropriate languages, shall be provided in a prominent position.

We have signs with instructions on how to properly wash hands near the hand washing sinks (in appropriate languages and visuals). The signs say how to wash hands followed by the instructions. However we don't have an actual sign (like they do in restaurants) that say Employees Must Wash Hands.

Am I over thinking this. Do we need an actual sign telling employees to wash their hands.

Thanks.

you got it right already.

Employee training on GMP's state they wash their hands every time, and you force your visitors to so I don't think a sign is needed like in restaurants.  However, I put them up, it took 2 minutes to laminate a piece of paper that just says in 72 point font Employees Must Wash Hands in English and Portuguese.

Looking at the code, it is asking if you are instructing people to wash, not how to wash.

If you have the space, it is easier to put up a sign, All employees must wash hands before returning to work, in various areas that are required. It acts as a reminder to all employees and visitors, all of the time, rather than trying to defend it to and auditor or inspector through your trainings, programs and visitor GMP sign in protocols.

We have signs in the break rooms, bathrooms and outside picnic tables as well as hand washing stations. It only takes a few minutes to make a laminated sign and we want to remind all employees they need to wash their hands after smoking, eating, drinking, each visit to the toilet or after using a handkerchief.

We have the attached sign at all entry doors to the processing areas.

Apologies, the file was not uploaded properly. Now attached.
