UK Lab to conduct cleaning verification of food contact equipment

Hi 

We are a plastics company making polythene bags for the food industry, we recently picked up a CAR for not having had carried out cleaning verification testing of our extrusion equipment.

it is easy to find  a lab that will carry out testing on food contact equipment, but I'm having difficulty in the UK for our non-food contact extruders. Does anybody know of a good lab for this type of swab testing and what am I asking them to test for?

Hi Mark,

We use ALS Laboratories for testing environmental swabs- they have a number of sites throughout the UK and, as far as I'm aware, offer collection if you are unable to deliver them.
