Does Handling Packed Food (Biscuit Packet etc.) require Hand Gloves?

Hi Everyone

I have concern over one of our Local Government Auditor were arsing Non Conformance over handling Biscuit / Chips Packets without Hand Gloves. The manual operation of Biscuit or Chips Manufacturing is to put packet into display boxes with necked hand. The production entrance  equipped with unavoidable automatic hand washing and sanitizing therefore workers can not enter without passing through hand sanitation unit.

Do anyone has guideline/requirement/specification/reference for this topic. Please do share. Thanks in Advance

Going to be a local regulation of some kind. I'd track down the law your local government is auditing against and look to see whether there are any specific requirements. Unfortunately I have no expertise in Saudi Arabia.

Hi, Auditor seems too tough on the site. if the finished packets are covered and only to be placed in the secondary packaging it shouldn't be NC unless there is local strict requirements or customer requirements.

Your country requires gloves when directly handling food or packaging that will come into contact with food.
