Scoop (as part of Product) inspection systems

Hi Everyone.

Anyone knows if there is technology (i.e. xray or camera systems) out there that can determine scoop mix-ups? Industry is powdered infant formula, follow on formula, and milk powder in cans.

The scoops are part of the product being sold and may have different sizes. They are usually inside the product also with the powdered for can product. Different consumers have different scoop quantity requirements.

Thanks.

Dear Fiel

Is it for identifying mix up of scoops such as 2 or 3 scoops in place of one, or is it mix up of different size scoops in the same product?

Can you differentiate between the scoop types by weight, such that you could potentially verify the total contents + packaging + scoop should be a known gross weight and thus that if this isn't the case then you've got the wrong scoop(s) in their?
No idea of pack sizes, scoop weights and realistic sensitivity of this approach, but might be worth exploring.

The intent is to check for mix up in size scoops i.e. a scoop is for infant, and another one is for toddler. The scoops are placed inside the can with powder or product (and they can move - meaning its not on a single location)
