Shelf Life Study for BULK Oil Products
Hi ! Our product is coconut oil (crude and refined). Product use is for ingredients of end consumer products.
We still have to conduct a shelf life study for our products.
We store and sell in bulk, i.e. products are stored in shore tanks (6MT), loaded via pipeline to either lorry tankers or vessel for export.
When it reaches the customer, the vegetable oil is loaded via pipes to their own shore tank.
We plan to have our shelf life conducted by outsource laboratories , who are asking us the way we PACKAGE our products,
problem is, we do not package them, as discussed they are stored, transported, and sold to our industrial in bulk.
How can we conduct shelf life for our bulk oil products?
Thanks and looking forward to your replies.
You inform the lab the study is to be conducted based on pre-packaging and explain the process of storage to pipeline to storage to pipeline to end user vessel.

Shall this pre-packaging type of shelf study be acceptable to FSSC 22000 standards, if ever?
