Hi all,
Does anyone here from Canada that got audited by CFIA? I am new with my job as a quality specialist and working for a small company that process protein powder. Can you guys give me an insight on what should I be expected on the day of the audit and how to prepare? Any insight would be a huge help.

We were inspected by CFIA in November to the new SFCR. They were here for a couple of hours. They do not go very in-depth. Just make sure you have all your documentation in place. If you are audited to a GFSI standard this will be a piece of cake. When they were here they wanted to see traceability, process and product controls, and import and export controls.
