Dear Team,

Need to get a complete list of Radioactive chemical (Eg. radium, Iodine etc) & Heavy metals to be tested in Juice and Diary products as per any guidelines. Appreciated the guidelines with acceptable & no acceptable limit comparisons.

Thanks .

Hi shanvikt,

Please avoid posting duplicate topics. It causes confusion.

The link posted in your other thread on the current version of Regulation (EC) 1881/2006 covers general contaminants including heavy metals, at least for EU purposes.
Again specific to the EU there are maximum levels of radioactive isotopes defined in Regulation (EURATOM) 2016/52 (although intended to apply in the event of radiological accidents/emergencies): https://eur-lex.euro...ELEX:32016R0052

The European Fruit Juice Association (AIJN) publishes includes limits for a slightly broader range of metals than the EU regulations currently require, but you'll need a subscription to access these: https://aijn.eu/en

Standard membership is €300 per year, and IMEX it's very useful if you do a lot of work with juices.
