Is it OK to share our Food Safety Plan with customers and state agencies?

Hello All,

Need some guidance and I'm hoping someone could with this.  We've recently had request from customers and state agencies if we can provide a copy of our food safety plan. Obviously, if it was an in-person visit we would show them our plan but how would one handle if they are asking this information via email?  Is this okay to share?, is there something else that can be provided?   Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

You can issue a declaration that you have this - such as we are compliance with HACCP and have a HACCP plan that is available for review at our facility.

Or you can simply send a copy of it.

Since running an approved supplier project for a client where we asked each one for a copy of it - we had about 80% of 100 send it out, 10 balkers and 10 that sent declarations.

Thank you. This is probably for a different thread but under the FSMA regulation, if a distribution facility is not registered through the FDA they are not required to comply to subpart C of the PCFH rule correct?  You would still be required to comply to subpart b Current Good Manufacturing Practices.
