Will storing sealed organic fertilizer in our warehouse violate our SQF Certification?

Hi all,

We are a promotional packager with no open food in our facility. Everything comes in it's food contact packaging and never leaves it. We also run fulfillment for a few non-food companies out of our warehouse.

We recently had an organic fertilizer company reach out to us to see if we could provide fulfillment for their product. All product would be enclosed and we would just be storing and shipping out as needed.

My concern is that this would be a violation against SQF Code as it may be considered a chemical or adulterant. Any input is appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Would you be including this in the scope of your certification?

We have all of our current fulfillment included in our scope, so yes this would be included too.
