How are food companies sourcing disinfectant during Covid19?

How are food companies sourcing Lysol (or other approved disinfectants) ? Every store is limiting purchases and we have yet to find any since March. Just doesn't make sense how we are supposed to be able to follow all these rules for cleaning and disinfecting if we cant find the proper chemicals. I recently got in contact with a local vendor but not sure if its going to work out right timing wise. Appreciate any help. We are in Virginia with impending labor standards coming into effect as well.

No problems sourcing anything in Texas nor here in NC.

Look online and start searching.  Our sourcing department found pails of Isopropyl Alcohol we started using when this whole COVID came about.  We have since moved onto Ecolab Drysan Duo.

Your local cleaning chemical supplier should have something you can and is available.  If you are a smaller outfit reach out to Zep or AFCO.

Start with your chemical supplier. They have a lot of suppliers so if they don't have something in stock they can get it.

I've heard we had some issues getting some things the office uses, such as clorox wipes, etc. We have no impending labor standards that I am aware of here.

One thing we've done is get our pest control company to perform disinfection service twice monthly on high touch areas in offices/control rooms/restrooms/break rooms. The previous company used a misting device, and the current company uses a peroxide based spray which they wipe down 10 minutes after it sets (have our first round of this scheduled for tomorrow).

I think it's a bit of 'Sanitation Theater,' but sometimes that's needed to help show employees we're trying to do what we can to help halt any spread in our facility (even if it's ineffective against the most common way it spreads).

Our usual Sanitation Service has been great. They buy their own chemicals and have offered deals on other chemicals.

Our uniform laundry service has offered to be a back up supplier as has our the company we purchased our ATP testing equipment from.
