ETO not compatible with salt containing products.

I just got in contact with our ETO treatment provider about sending a spice mixture that contains salt for ETO treatment and got rejected for such. On the other hand I got a QA rep from the same company stating there is no problem with it. Does anybody know anything about this? All I found on PUBCHEM checks with salt being not compatible with it but does not elaborates on the matter.

Can I get a little more info on why you're sending spices/salt for ethylene oxide treatment? Can you not heat treat the spice mixture, or freeze (for bacteria???) What's the goal? Did the QA rep supply you with evidence?

Thanks!

Dan
