Implementing a Food Safety System...Where to start from?

Hello there,  I am asking about where to start from to implement a food safety system? Do I have to start from GMP or what else? Thanks

basically its a restaurant with around 7 branches and Central Kitchen ,

 

main products contain Vegetables , Beef , Chicken , Eggs , Shrimp .." separated from each other for sure "

 

and currently there is no any system implemented , and am not looking to certify from any for now , looking for the basics .

 

my background is a little small , ISO 9001 , HACCP basics , and currently taking GMP's
