Can you change Certification Body for the re-audit?

Can you change CB for the re-audit?  if you feel that there was something wrong in the initial audit process that was carried out- is that allowed to change CB ?

You can change your certification body, it is a commercial contract. There may be cancellation fees depending upon the timings but these should be in the certification body's Ts&Cs.

 

The original report needs to be made available to the new company who should recheck the findings and non conformities raised.

 

The Covid situation has meant some rule changes and remote audits can't, as I understand be carried, out if you change to another certification body.
