Good morning everyone, regarding the qualification of FOOD SAFETY AND QUALITY AUDITOR CERTIFICATION CFSQA, issued by ASQ, I wanted to ask you if this qualification is recognised at European level or only in the States. Has anyone of you had any experience in this regard? Is this qualification equivalent to the HACCP level 4 course (UK recognization)? Thank you all for your kind cooperation!!! Michela

I'm yet to encounter anyone in Europe with this qualification. The course syllabus seems to be far broader than the UK's Level 4 HACCP, but it does also seem to be very US-focussed - I note that it refers to e.g. the NACMCF, and the regulatory section appears to be entirely on the US CFRs.

What's the context of your enquiry? Is this a course you're considering taking?

Hi,

thank you very much for your answer. I would like to attend a HACCP course level 4, issued by Campden, but unfortunately it is very expansive. So I started to check in internet and I found the ASQ course. So I asked to the forum about this course; I am agree with you that this is US focused.

There are other places that offer the Level 4 qualification that may be less expensive - some of what Campden does is very good, and the name certainly carries a lot of credibility, but it's priced accordingly... ;)

I don't know what your local position is in Italy, but for the UK-based courses you'd want to look for those accredited by the Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH), of which Campden is just one example. RSPH have a full list of providers on their website, so it's probably worth checking some of these: https://www.rsph.org...cp-system-.html

thank you very much. I will look at the proposed websites.
