In House HACCP and Food Safety Training
Hi all, I plan to obtain level 4 HACCP and Level 4 Food Safety. I understand one of the advantages of this is we can start our own in-house training for staff for levels 1-3 in HACCP and Food Safety. If we are to deliver our own in-house training would we need to register as a training organisation? Any issues with in-house training with audits etc (BRC, retailers)? Ideally answers in the UK would be best as that is where I am based :) Many thanks!
Hi,
I am only level 3 for both HACCP & food safety and my FSSC22000 & BRC auditor has accepted the fact that I am doing the training/refresher on HACCP & food safety to all employees. She has even accepted my refresher training for the HACCP team member.
the only thing is that the employee cannot leave the company and have a certificate that says they have trained but otherwise nothing stops you from doing training in house as long as the trainer is qualified.

Are you planning to "just" offer internal training, or do you want to be able to deliver training in conjunction with an exam for the e.g. the accredited RSPH HACCP certificates?
For the latter you'd need to become a training centre via RSPH - see https://www.rsph.org...e-a-centre.html
Just wondering if you have an example of the training you deliver as this is something I would like to implement.
Thank you in advance
