Co-manufacturer GFSI certification Inquiry
Hello IFSQN, I have a question regarding GFSI certification of a co-manufacturer: If our co-manufacturer that is our sole supply of our branded product, has a GFSI certification what requirements or certifications does our Company require to use the GFSI destination? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

afaik, a manufacturer's certification to a GFSI-recognized Standard is awarded to the source of the Product / Process. ?
Here's a link to SQF terms of use

You'll probably want to reach out to the organization to be sure you're use is legal
Assuming you mean that the product in it's final packaging is produced at a copacker-you own what they make-I think you should be fine to add the logo to your product----READ THE ATTACHED DOC LINK FIRST!
All GFSI benchmarked certifications are site specific. If a copacker or contract supplier is certified to one of the programs, and you purchase that product, then sell it on (without any changes or repacking), you can claim the product is made in a certified facility. You cannot claim the certification covers your facility or any activities you perform.
It would help potentially if you clarify your role in the process. if you are a distributor, warehouse, retailer, manufacturer....
