Hello all, I am in need of some help regarding where to look regarding US labelling for different types of sugar. I need to create a US label for a product that contains the following: 1) Dark brown sugar 2) Yellow/brown sugar 3) White sugar 4)Confectioners sugar (coarse sugar). Do I need to list all of the above sugars separately in the US ingredient declaration. Can anyone help or direct me please. Thank you. KBMB

I believe you can group them all and label all of them together as "sugar".  However, the caveat is there are no sub-ingredients in each of those types of sugar.  Reference 21 CFR 184.1854 and the link below may be of help as well.

I agree with Ryan.

Normally I see a breakdown under the list of ingredients in descending quantity.
