FDA labeling- Manufactured/Distributed by

Hi, hope you all are doing good. I have a query regarding USFDA labelling. Can you explain how to go with "Manufactured by/ distributed by" when one is exporting food product to US. I know, one has put COO on the label. How to give "distributed by" if no office is there in US. can we go ahead with "Manufactured by : Home country address" Regards,

Hi!

 

I am actually working on this same issue. We have a product being manufactured in another country for sale in the United States. We do not want our United States entity to be associated with this product so we cannot say Distributed by US COMPANY. Instead, I want to have Manufactured by COO COMPANY. However, some research says I need to have some USA company on the label too... We will have a 1-800 number for complaints/comments.
