Regulatory affairs questions

Hello everyone,

 

Thanks for making this a useful forum. Do we also discuss regulatory affairs issues here? 

 

I am looking for the Codex or any other authority link includig WHO for GDAs or RDI. The one that clearly shows : Energy 8400 kJ / 2000 kcal, Total fat 70 g, Saturates 20 g, Carbohydrates 260 g, Sugars 90 g, Protein 50 g, Salt 6 g

 

Seems like the only places I find them compiled are informal sources that can't really be referenced.

The legislation you are looking for is EC 1169/2011 from Europe. The values you have are the Reference Intake, for an adult, for each of the major nutrients (ANNEX XIII - Part B).

We do discuss regulatory requirements here as quite a few of us have regulatory responsibilities, especially pertaining to food safety.
