Are there any regulatory requirements for placement of recycling symbols on food containers?

Greetings everyone, my question today is regarding any regulatory requirements for placement of Recycling symbol on food containers. In our case, we make a lollipop with a plastic stick (made of PP). For this, would it be OK to place the recycle symbol on the sticker of the lollipop (where all other required info is, nutrition, ingts, allergen, etc.) - or would this need to be on the actual plastic stick? Thanks in Advance!
