Hi everyone,

I am wondering if the GFSI has developed requirements for retailers in their ISO TS 22002-X series ? if not are there any relevant references ( IFS, BRC, others..)

Thanks

GFSI and ISO are different entities.

The GFSI benchmarks were initially created by Retailers to harmonise safety standards within supply chain.

ISO/TS 22002 consists of the following parts, under the general title Prerequisite programmes on food safety:
  • Part 1: Food manufacturing
  • Part 2: Catering
  • Part 3: Farming
The following parts are under preparation :
  • Part 4: Food packaging manufacturing
  • Part 5: Transport and storage
(PS -  4 is afaik issued)
