Hi guys :)

Could you please help and suggested what can be  supporting PI’s to meet the high level KPI’s on foreign bodies/quality as measured by complaints?

Which FSSC point exactly requires such PIs?

Thanks in advance

KPIs relate to section 9 Performance Evaluation - however, the standard itself does not actually require KPIs as far as I see (refer to ISO 22000:2018). Supporting activities could be your internal audits, GMP inspections, trainings, etc.: the less non-conformities/deviations you have in terms of foreign matter control, the higher your KPI.

Hi olenazh,
I try to write manual, processes and documents for a site that want fssc22000.
When i try to interpretent the requirement of 6.2 objectives I write the below mentioned document. but then I came across with the requirement 9.1!!!
WTF??? is this the same? I used to work with BRC and FSSC/ISO standard confuse me so much!
If you can make clear to me what every clause wants with one example I would be grateful.

sorry this is the file

Hello.

Although it is true that, in ISO 22000 standard, it does not define at which points PI´s should be established, it is very practical to establish them based on verification activities.
ISO 22000 clause 8.8, where the verification plan must be established with the verification activities, methods, frequencies, responsible parties, monitoring and measurement will be directly developed, that is, in the PRPs, or according to the verification activities and methods. They are going to propose indicators (not only of compliance, but also of performance), which would contribute to the Objective. (Clause 9.1.1 y 9.1.2)

Depending on the PPR x eg,
cross contamination prevention: (ISO 7TS 22002-1 clause 10),
method: physical state inspections of luminaires, glass, acrylic, ceramic,
frequency: every quarterly, indicators can be generated:
1- compliance (compliance with the inspection plan by review area of the physical state of luminaires, glass, acrylic, ceramic)
2- performance: index of presence of foreign materials in the product, or on the line, by areas. ( downward trend).

That is, in ISO 22000 in 8.8 the method is established, in 9.11 I establish How (indicator) and when to measure according to results obtained in 8.8, and in 9.1.2 I analyze and evaluate information, trends are verified, which confirm that 8.8 is met and contributes to objectives.
