Hi all
We are planning to use Gel pack above and below the Vacuum skin pack (10 k film one side and tray forming film other side) fresh fish fillets.
My concerns are
can we use the gel pack with above and below the product.
What are the gel pack requirements for supplier verification program?
I would really appreciate for valuable suggestions.Thank you!

There should be no concerns with placement of the gel packs. You should consider gel packs as packaging materials. In this case, the gel packs should have no direct food contact, but some gel pack manufacturers can provide evidence that their products are safe for food contact (in case the contents leak).
