i am not sure what you are asking.   below is a summary.   the code and guidance documents may help you as well.

3.4.1 - you should a have a shedule of internal audits.   Many people will use the BRC audit checklist as the "scope"  of these audits.   BRC wants yout to spread these out over at least four dates.   so maybe do section 1 & 2 in the first quarter, 3 &4 in the sectond quarter, 5 &6 in the third quarter and 7 (and any other relevent sections in the forth quarter.

3.4.2 - the auditor needs to be trained/competent  to complete the audits and be indepndent of the item they are auditing.

3.4.3 - there needs to be corrective actions for items noted in the audits and audit findings need to be reported.

3.4.4 - you need to have routine  hygiene inspections.   the frequency is based on risk, but at least once per month.

I did a risk assessment on each section of the BRC standard to see which areas would have the most impact if we failed them, and also which ones we were historically good/bad at. Then, I scheduled each section to be audited either monthly, quarterly, or annually based upon the risk level and our past history. Multiple auditors had no issue with that method.

2 Thanks

Hi Suresh,

Do you need to conduct an internal audit OR prepare a schedule as per BRCGS?
