I've been in QA/QC for many (35+)years dealing with frozen seafood (mostly crab and salmon)
The company I used to work for was SQF certified a couple years ago.
I recently moved to a new company that has been SQF certified for several years and I am the QA assistant manager.
We manufacture surimi into RTE.
I will probably be asking a lot of questions on the difference requirements.
