What are the USDA Organic Seal Size Requirements?

Hi All,

I have been trying to find a set size requirement for the USDA Organic Seal, however all I can find on the USDA website is this statement under § 205.311 USDA Seal.

(b) The USDA seal must replicate the form and design of the example in figure 1 and must be printed legibly and conspicuously:

If this is the only requirement regarding the size of the Seal, then great. Ensuring the Seal is legible and conspicuous is easy, but wanted to check with the forum incase anyone knew of other size requirements I am unaware of.

Thank you!

There is no size requirement. I do believe if you also have your certification agency's logo on the label, it can not be printed any larger than the USDA seal. Also, make sure you get your label approved in writing by your certification agency, they should be able to catch any mistake with the seal before printing.
