Hi

I need so help!!!!

Document control - If procedures and forms have not changed in 2 years, do I need to review and record that I have reviewed but no changes.

I am currently on every document putting in a review date in the footer of all docs.

Would this be enough.

BRCGS - Food Safety is the standard we are working to.

Thanks

Hi Astro,

We have an annual document review for Tech Specs/MSDS and biennial review for all other documents.
Even if there are no changes, the document issue date and version number are changed to demonstrate they have been reviewed.

You'll need to have the document ref, issue date, version number on all controlled documents.
Any amendments also need to be recorded either on the document itself or on a doc control list.

Example:

Doc Ref: TS.PROD.025
Issue Date: 19/04/2022
Version Number: 002

I hope this helps.

Kind regards,

Ry

I just add my initials and the new date to the bottom of the hard copy, so some have only 1 set, others have multiple

Yes, you should be reviewing and signing the review date as well as person responsible. Even if there are no changes!

If you have a Microsoft Office account, I might suggest using MS Sharepoint to manage your SOPs and Form Templates. Through Sharepoint you can ensure only certain users can make changes to sensitive documents. Some auditors consider unprotected digital copies of SOPs to be uncontrolled, since anyone with computer access at the firm can make changes to the master copy.
