USDA database for food labels

Hello
I have to make a food label for a frozen papaya but, the company does not has the money for paying the food analysis and in the usda database only have the nutritional facts for raw papaya. Is it possible under the FDA regulations to use the raw information, or does anyone is familiar with another valid database that we can use for reference.

Are raw and frozen papaya nutritionally different?

No. The same nutritionally.

Although the product is frozen, isn't it intended to be consumed thawed (ie, raw)? Seems like you have decent justification to use the raw nutritional information.

 

And as others have mentioned...I'm sure the nutritional content between frozen and raw is the same!

Yes, there are differences. There is a loss of nutrients, especially vitamins due to the chopping and freezing process

No. The same nutritionally.

I stand corrected. Frozen may be more nutrient dense than fresh.
