Hi!

Does anybody know what is the procedure for adding coconut kernel products & dried fruit products as a trading product to scope certificate of FSSC 22000?

If it can add as a trading product:

1. What are the documents need to submit to certification body?

2. What are the documents need be maintained by the client?

Greetings Nalathu,

Why don't you contact your certification body directly? I suggest this, cause though the guidlines are same, the documentation or the process needed by the certification body may vary, comparing to other countries or even other CB.

If by client you mean the receiver, then you only need him to maintain the traceability documents. If you mean the client that trades his products through you, then he should be treated as a supplier, no matter the deal (GMP, available analyses of the products if needed, traceability documents, compliance with legislation, maybe some certification though not really needed, storage/transportation conditions etc).

Regards!

Hello Evans,

Thank you very much for your reply on this matter.

As you have requested I have directly contacted the control body.

Accordingly, FSSC 22000 does not allow to certify any product as a trading product.

Thanks again!
