Can we use Crystal Simple Green on food-contact surfaces?

Question. Could we use Crystal Simple Green on food-contact surfaces? (grinder, knives, etc.)

You'll need to be more specific.  You could start by checking the SDS sheet of whichever chemical you're considering.

YES! and as an FYI is organic certified compliant

If you look at NSF category codes, there is nothing there that explicitly references food contact surfaces. I've been trying to get to the bottom of this for months without success. Lots of people use Simple Green on FCSs, but yet to find an "official" provision for that use. The fact that the manufacturer, Sunshine Makers, Inc. does not explicitly identify FCS on label or anywhere else that I can find makes be suspicious. Seems like a gray area.
