Any clue, what is the meaning of COID in the new update FSSC Bos List?

It says, to ease the traceability of certified organizations, so we must ask our certified body to upgrade the certificate of FSSC that we get.

Please let me know, thanks

Greetings Rafi,

The COID is a traceability number given by the Certification Body for each company they have certified that identifies each company in the FSSC database. This number is unique for each facility and once given it follows the company even if the certification body for some reason changes.

A few examples that are equivelant to this are the DUNS number for FDA or the GLN for IFS if you are familiar. The main difference is that this number is issued by the CB according to FSSC guidance and not upon request from the organization to be audited like in the above mentioned examples.

Regards!

Ooohh so for the action plan, we just need to wait for audits in 2023, and the CB that we used, change the FSSC certification of our company.

Is that correct?
