Food safety risk assssment

Hi all,

Does anyone have a example of form to release the area back to use after the food safety incident? I.E. Product contamination due to belt mistracking. Something what QA could follow to determine risk of food contamination and based on risk he could either release the area or escalate it to the senior manager.

Thank you

In my opinion, there are only a handful of things that need to be checked:

1. Does the machine in question work properly again? Was it properly repaired and signed off by competent technicians?

2. Was the machine and surrounding area properly cleaned?

3. Have corrective and preventive actions been established to prevent the problem reoccuring?

The actions you need to do surrounding the affected product are much more interesting in my personal opinion.

Have you considered that process too?
