BRC Clause 4.9.3.5
on a recent audit we were told that our EFK's should have shatterproof light tubes. We have been unable to locate shatterproof light tubes so has anybody knowledge of where I can purchase these from in the UK - 20W UV Light?
The standard then goes on to say that if this is unachieveable, then wire mesh screens could be be used to protect from shatter fragments. Any experience with this?

I would ask your pest control company for these documents. They should be able to supply the bulbs themselves and any documentation needed.
You're saying you can find neither a shield or a shielded lamp for those? just a plastic sleeve should suffice.
