BRC Start! is intended to act as a stepping stone to full certification by turning the daunting tasks of getting certified into multiple manageable chunks.
It's fully GFSI recognized, but if you want to inspire confidence in customers, I would lay out the roadmap for your organization immediately. When do you plan to reach full certification?
You can't be Start! certified forever and have retailers accept that indefinitely.
