Hi,

We are a bakery unit, producing variety of  brownies and donuts. We are seeking ISO22000:2018 certificate. In future we wish to expand to variety of cakes and cookies too.

The scope chosen is " Production and distribution of variety of bakery items". On the ISO 22000 certificate, is it mandatory to mention the broad group such as brownies, donuts, cakes, cookies etc.. Please clarify.

I think so: for instance, on our certificate, it's mentioned "manufacture of dairy yogurt, cream cheese and sour cream packed into plastic containers", not just manufacture of dairy products. This reflects our HACCP plans. So, that would depend on your HACCP plans.
