Hello,

How do you guys dispose of empty chemical drums/containers?

Can we just rinse them and remove the label and have our trash company pick them up or do we have to contact a specific company for that?

Thank you!

Completely dependent on what was in the drum. Some may require hazmat company pickup. We found best way was to contact the supplying company and have them provide the method of disposal to be sent before or with the container.

Sure beats getting the knock on door with an authority holding a fine notice.

Hi QAKat,

Normally I would have a contract with the chemical supplier that included a pick up and disposal of empty chemical containers.

Are you purchasing off the shelf?

Kind regards,

Tony
