Phthalates in food

Hello,
I would like to know more about phthalates in food.
Is there a Maximum Residual Limit (MRL) or it should be free?
If there is a MRL, what are the regulations for it?
We analyze phthalates in our products but we don’t know very clear how to interpret if a result is acceptable or not.
Thanks for any feedback!
