Bioluminescence ATP Measurer selection

Hello everyone! I have recently taken on a position as a quality manager in a fish processing company and have begun to settle into the role well. My predecessor used petrifilms to test the effectiveness of cleaning. I have experience with this from previous roles, but i also used ATP measurer aswell and would like to implement this.

My question is which ATP meter do you use? I have previous experience with 3M's, but I have read up on Kikkoman Lumitester A3. Kikkoman's A3 looks interesting, especially since it measures ATP, AMP and ADP. Will there be any downsides to measure these three units?

Hello,

At my facility we use Hygiena meters. We use their ATP surface swabs and their liquid swabs, but they have a multitude of different swabs that you can use for different functions using the same meter.

They have a really nice data analysis tool as well.

At my last place we used Hygiena and their ATP swabs, as well. They include the SureTrend software to store and analyze results, which auditors seem to really enjoy looking at. Hygiena also sends you a replacement luminometer if yours has to be sent in at all. You can also specify users, which can be a useful way to evaluate personnel's training on how to use the luminometer (ex: compare their swab results with their trainer's to see if there is a significant difference in results). I used the older model, which could be a little clumsy to learn. I believe they have a newer touch-screen version out now.

I'm not sure about other providers, as Hygiena is the only one I have experience with.
