BRCGS Storage and Distribution - Clause 1.1.9

Sorry this is a potentially very silly question, but when does this clause apply? Is it targeted primarily to the distribution element?

The company I'm working for are aiming for our first S&D audit, with our experience all against the food standard. We don't run any transport ourselves, and are trying to identify if our existing HACCP would suffice to cover this clause.

Any help would be appreciated!

You should be registered with your local council as a food handling business and have some evidence of this to show your auditor.
