Dear all,

I need help about NC " Potential product defects that are reasonably expected to occur at each step were not recorded ".

This NC is related with BRC packaging v6, point 5.4.1

Greetings makomako,

It tells you to make a list of expected problems (defects) with the product during the production steps. I don't know your process but let's say step 1 you could have the possibility of a physical substance that could drop in the mix and show up later during formation.(eg spots, streaks etc). Step 2 can possibly have no defect free, then step 3 could have a possiblitly of deformed products (thinner/thicker or twisted or compressed or missaligned), then step 4 could have the possibility of tear ups and on and on. Furthermore some steps may have more than one possibilities of producing defects.

You can easily find out and make a registry about them. If you have defective products from time time you can also start by registering what those problems were and at what step they occured.

Regards!
