FDA regulation for food contact materials

I'm from the EU, and we're planning to introduce a food contact material (paper with wax coating) in the US market. In the EU, we know we have to comply with Regulation 1935/2004 and various national regulations when introducing it in the EU. What regulations should I consider for the US?
