GMP checklist for open fish market
Hi everyone.
I need to make a GMP checklist for an open fish market situated next to the sea. Fishermen offload their catch at the market and sell the fish to vendors who process (scale, gut, clean) the fish in stalls located in an area covered with a roof and which has a tiled floor.
However, there are no walls enclosing the facility and customers purchase the fish from the stalls.
How for example, would the issue of pest control be dealt with?
Does anyone have a checklist applicable to an open fish market?

Is it regulated?
The market is regulated by local government.
There is a separate room enclosed by solid walls on the compound, which is used for packing fresh fish to be exported. It is compliant with the FDA's 21 CFR Part123 (Fish and Fishery Products).
The checklist will be for use in the other areas of the market.
